Los Angeles: Doesn't really have the same hobo problem. Doesn't really have any practical subway system either.

fuck the subway. it has stairs you have to walk down. i go straight from my SUV to my segway to the elevator to my office chair. it has wheels. LOS ANGELES!
LA by a country mile. Who wants to ride a filthy subway surrounded by filthy derelicts? The homeless should be shot.
But NY has smug intellectual superiority, Jon Stewart and bagels. We still lose, don't we? Fuck it, I'm moving to PEI anyway.
You could have summed up all three of those things by saying, "New York has Jews," which, of course, means nothing since Los Angeles not only has them, but is run by them.
yeah, LA has jews, but they're of the self-hating, nose-jobbing, hair bleaching variety.
LA all the way - who needs a subway when you've got a car? Plus, it's home of Phillipe's - the ORIGINAL French Dip sandwich.
i dont know you but LA has lots of hobos. hobos with tents. down town, little tokyo, garment district, ill named toy district, even santa monica's 3rd street promenade and my precious k town.
